Cole Buxton Goes Live with Cegid Retail mPOS and Planet’s Payment Solution

MWC Partners are pleased to announce that Cole Buxton’s newly deployed Cegid mPOS solution is now live with Planet’s payment solution. The solution utilises a Cegid Retail to Planet payment connector developed by retail systems specialists, MWC Partners.

The POS and payment solutions run on iPhones and PAX Terminals to enable store staff to serve customers and take payments, wherever they are in store, and address Cole Buxton’s requirement to provide queue-busting during peak periods.

The integration was developed after global integrated payments leader, Planet, approached MWC Partners in late 2020 to build a connector between their payment solution and Cegid POS solutions. The team at Planet knew of MWC Partners’ experience in the payments integration market and were confident in the company’s ability to deliver. Planet commissioned MWC Partners to develop connectors for both their wireless and fixed client solutions.

When MWC Partners won the contract to implement Cegid Retail for Cole Buxton in July 2021, Cole Buxton approached a number of payment service providers (PSP), looking for a reliable, scalable, and flexible solution already integrated with Cegid Retail.
