MWC Partners Integrates Shift4 Payments with Cegid Retail

MWC Partners are delighted to announce the completion of a full integration between Shift4’s global payment solution with the full suite of Cegid Retail POS solutions, including Cegid Retail Y2, mPOS, and Live Store.

The integration is available to deploy to merchants in markets where both Cegid and Shift4 are available. Connector prompts have been translated into all languages that Cegid supports to support fast global deployment.

Shift4’s payment solution natively offers dynamic currency conversion (DCC). By offering customers the option to pay in their own currency, retailers create a more transparent and reassuring checkout experience, especially for international shoppers who want to know the exact amount they’ll be charged. This added clarity often leads to higher customer satisfaction and fewer disputes or chargebacks caused by unexpected foreign transaction fees. Additionally, DCC can generate extra revenue for merchants through shared conversion margins.
