MWC Partners Integrate Stripe Terminal with Cegid Retail

Retail systems and payment specialists, MWC Partners, are pleased to announce that they have integrated Stripe’s in-store payment solution, Stripe Terminal, with the full suite of Cegid Retail POS applications, including Cegid Retail Y2, mPOS and Live Store.
The integration was developed using the new Stripe .NET SDK, which allows a single integration to support a range of different terminal types to meet the individual merchant’s needs. The flexible design of Stripe’s new SDK supports a wide range of use cases, which made it easier to match Cegid payment requirements with Stripe’s payment functionality and to take full advantage of the Stripe API for processing payments.
According to Stripe, the speed with which the new connector can be deployed allowed Colombian fashion retailer, Tennis, to roll out Stripe Terminal integrated with their Cegid POS solution in under two weeks.
In the video below, you can see Stripe Terminal running on Stripe’s S700 Android payment terminal and working with Cegid Retail Live Store, the cloud-based omnichannel POS solution.

MWC Partners and Stripe are continuing to work closely together in order to further enhance the Cegid and Stripe integration and to bring new functionality and payment methods to improve the Customer and Merchant experience. The next release is already under development and will include an integration with Stripe Connect Direct and Destination accounts and support for Customer Not Present (MOTO), Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) and Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) such as WeChat Pay.
