MWC Partners Integrate Scalapay Buy-Now-Pay-Later with Cegid Retail

MWC Partners have developed a direct integration between Scalapay’s Buy-Now-Pay-Later solution and the full suite of Cegid Retail POS solutions, including Cegid Retail Y2, mPOS and Live Store. All of Cegid’s 1,200+ global retail customers now have access to this integration and so can offer Scalapay’s Buy-Now-Pay-Later solution in-store.

The integration is currently available for Cegid users operating in France, Italy and Spain with relevant translations for all connector prompt messages also available.

Customers wishing to use Scalapay at the point of sale can choose to receive the payment link either by SMS or email, with these details being automatically extracted from their account in Cegid. Cegid passes the transaction and customer details to Scalapay via the MWC payment connector. Scalapay then sends a unique link to the customer which opens the payment page in the Scalapay app on their smartphone. Once the customer confirms, Scalapay assesses the customer’s eligibility and, if successful, gives approval instantly.
