MWC Partners Integrate Fiserv Cloud POI with Cegid Retail

Retail systems and payment specialists, MWC Partners, have integrated the Cloud POI payment solution from Fiserv with the full suite of Cegid Retail POS applications including Cegid Retail Y2, mPOS and Live Store. To help streamline their payment solutions offering, Fiserv have adopted nexo standards across their payment applications. The Cegid integration with the Cloud POI payment solution from Fiserv has been developed by MWC Partners in accordance with version 3 of the nexo Retailer Protocol. 

Aware of MWC Partners’ acknowledged reputation as the leading global integrator of payment solutions with Cegid Retail, the Fiserv team approached MWC to discuss how they could integrate Cloud POI with Cegid. Following the successful development of a skeleton proof of concept to prove data flows, Fiserv commissioned the full integration to be developed.  

In the video below, the payment solution from Fiserv is shown working with Cegid Retail Live Store, the cloud-based omnichannel POS solution. Cloud POI from Fiserv also offers dynamic currency conversion, allowing customers whose payment cards have a different base currency to that of the merchant’s to pay in their native currency. This ensures that the customer knows exactly how much they will be charged at the time of sale.
